Hi Friend:

I hope your day is going well for you. I ran across some cool software that I think you'll be interested in and can help you hide folders and files on your computer. This can come in real handy when you have sensitive files that you want to keep private from prying eyes. Use Hide Those Folders software to keep private files from being viewed by children, employers, employees, and even hackers!

Hide Those Folders will hide your sensitive files and folders so that they can't be seen or accessed. Files stay hidden even if you turn on "View Hidden Files" Even links in your recent documents menu won't be able to find your hidden files or hidden folders.

The best part is that Hide Those Folders offers a FREE "Try Before You Buy" trial.

Ask your apartment management about a recycling program, or call your waste collector and ask them what they do for other complexes, if anything? Maybe you can start something?

Great! The thing about the milk cartons is that I don't think that they are recyclable. I'm still waiting to hear from Ecology Action about where they accept what. Can you check with your curbside recycler in RR to find out if they take those wax coated paper cartons? Í know that Ecology Action's website says that they won't. It's, of course, best to eliminate plastics, but I'm not so confident that is a reasonable goal. Keeping as much plastic, and anything else, out of the landfill as possible at the same time, is highly desirable as well. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
I have become a firm believer in reusable shopping bags and don't use the plastic produce bags anymore. I am re-using the supply that I have until that wears out, then I'll figure out something else for the produce.

Thanks! I'm an air - breathing ocean lover from way back ...
What heinous plastic are you willing to permanently replace in your life for the week? Any ideas?
Plastic water bottles jump to mind, as well as immediately removing any and all possible styrofoam from my life.
We have also begun to collect recyclable plastics numbered 1 through 7 that hopefully can be taken to the recycling drop off at Ecology Action, I'm checking with them to find out what they will accept at which locations and then I will forward that information if you are interested in recycling more than the residential curbside allowances.
