I currently:
- bring my lunch in canning jars and cloth napkins.
- buy in bulk (meaning one large plastic container) in stead of individual plastic containers.
- refuse plastic silverware whenever possible.
- refuse straws often.
- choose take out food by what kind of packaging it comes in. (example: the Blue Water Taco near work wraps burritos in alluminum foil and doesn't force a plastic bag on me.)
I want to:
- stop eating work snacks. they are individually wrapped and not good for me anyway.
- figure out how to make my own yogurt.
- use the cheese making kit I bought a little while ago.
- shop at the local farmers markets for unwrapped, seasonal, local veggies.
